Release Highlights The Q1300 now has the ability to prioritize ARP packets, which helps IP devices manage traffic and connections. As each packet arrives, the header will be examined, and any packets containing the unique ARP identifier are placed in the NC queue of the QoS traffic control buffers. Since 1% of the system bandwidth is reserved for the NC queue, all ARP packets will now have a “free path” to get through the system, regardless of traffic in other queues.
