T1 Line Conditioning and Monitoring

The Satellite™ 932 CSU conditions T1 service lines using a transparent operation that regenerates the T1 bitstream from the public network to a variety of high-speed applications (see Figure 1). The Satellite 932 also monitors the signal level of the T1 line and can identify degrading circuits before they fail, saving you downtime and proactively preventing outages.

The Satellite 932 includes line build-out, LED status indicators, monitor jacks, power options, and automatic keep-alive signal generation. It also features regenerators for both the incoming signals from the network and from local customer equipment toward the network.

By continually monitoring the status of the T1 lines, the Satellite 932 can detect when T1 signal levels begin degrading.
