COLUMBUS, OHIO – May 5, 2011 – Kentrox, Inc., an innovator of site monitoring, management, and control solutions, partners with Planex Technologies in South America to provide a comprehensive solution for managing network sites. Planex, a Kentrox distributor and reseller, specializes in integrating technology solutions for information technologies and communications networks, including wireless and wireline service providers.
Planex is integrating and supporting the Kentrox site management solution with their services, enabling customers to reduce network and operating costs while improving network performance. Combining the Kentrox Remote suite of products and the Optima management systems with Planex integration, deployment, and support services provides a complete solution for monitoring, managing, and controlling network assets - remotely.
Optima gives network operators a comprehensive view and control of network infrastructure sites. The management system provides preventative maintenance tools to help identify issues before they occur. The Remote suite of products provides monitoring and control for energy and power management to sites and equipment. Remote provides site alarm monitoring and equipment connectivity and acts as an intelligent extension of your Operations Support Systems (OSS).
