Remote RMX-3200 provides next generation remote site management
COLUMBUS, OHIO – April 1, 2009 – Kentrox®, Inc., an innovator of site monitoring, management, and control solutions for service providers, announces immediate availability of the new Remote RMX-3200 for enhanced remote site management. This enables service providers to improve operational efficiency while reducing costs by enabling virtual truck rolls and proactive maintenance, ultimately improving technician efficiency and network availability.
Remote RMX-3200 is the newest addition to the Remote family of products for remote site management, joining the Remote RMM-1200 and the Remote to support a wide range of sites. The RMX-3200 resides at remote locations, providing enhanced site management, alarm monitoring and diagnostics, and flexible IP network connectivity. Combined with Optima Management Portal, they provide service providers detailed monitoring, remote control, and management of remote sites and equipment.

Remote RMX-3200 provides IP connectivity with flexible network options, including Ethernet, T1/E1 or wireless, to provide site equipment and protocol connectivity along with monitoring, control, and diagnostics of site conditions. It is ideal for sites with a range of applications including power, environment, security, tower/facility, and equipment management. Modular flexibility allows the solution to grow as locations and management needs expand.
The Remote RMX-3200 introduces Power over Ethernet capabilities for remote site security applications such as IP cameras to deter theft of equipment and copper. Security applications include motion sensing image capture, notification of unscheduled activity, and remote monitoring of valuable assets.
Remote customers have significantly reduced costs and improved operational efficiencies by reducing the number truck rolls and decreasing Mean Time to Repair.
