Kentrox Announces Optima 9.0 and Remote 4.0

COLUMBUS, OHIO – November 15, 2011 – Kentrox®, Inc., an innovator of site monitoring, management, and control solutions, announces immediate availability of Optima 9.0 and the Remote 4.0 suite of products. The Optima management system provides complete visibility and control of the network infrastructure at sites, such as cell sites and remote communication huts. It gives immediate operational cost reduction to organizations that need to access, monitor, control, and manage large numbers of sites. Optima provides remote monitoring, control, and automation over the maintenance and management of infrastructure and physical elements. The Remote suite of products enables customers (wireless operators, wireline service providers, utilities, transportation, etc.) to reduce operational expenses by enabling virtual truck rolls and proactive maintenance, ultimately improving technician efficiency and network availability.
Optima 9 includes the following new features and upgrades:
- Support for SNMPv3
- Customized search features and free-form fields for network element notes
- Enhanced navigation and map view
The Remote 4.0 release adds new features and functionality for the Remote RMX-3200 and RMM-1400 including the following:
- Support for SNMPv3
- Support for a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port
- Seven day historical data collection
