Applied Innovation Earns TL 9000 Recertification

DUBLIN, OHIO (March 15, 2007) – Continuing its long-term commitment to the telecommunications industry, Applied Innovation Inc. (NASDAQ: AINN) has completed a full recertification audit of its quality systems and achieved TL 9000 registration. TL 9000 is designed specifically for the telecommunications industry and establishes quality systems to protect the integrity and use of telecom equipment, software or services.
TL 9000 was created by the QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications) Forum. Its purpose is to apply a consistent set of quality system requirements and metrics for the telecommunications industry based on ISO 9001, which validate the quality of products, services and customer care that a company provides.

Applied Innovation (AI) first obtained ISO 9001 registration in July 1995 then achieved TL 9000 (Release 3.0) registration in 2004. The company has retained management focus on continuous improvement of its business practices by continually earning recertification and plans to be fully compliant with TL 9000 Release 4.0 requirements by mid year.
